Trendelenberg

The weirdest thing that happened to me today was getting invited by bacolodbeauties.multiply.com.

When I opened multiply, I saw that i had an invitation. It was from Bacolod Beauties. Parang instinct, I immediately approved the invitation. Then I visited the site and looked at all Bacolod Beauties' contacts. My gosh. All the girls there were pretty. Some of them are even from BAM. LOL. Daw nahuya na lang ko sa kaugalingon ko for accepting the invite. LOL I felt so OP among the girls there, so I had to remove Bacolod Beauties from my contacts right away. Ahay... Kanugon. Hahahaha! Kis-a man lang ta tani gaka imbitar maupod sa mga gwapa ba. hahaha. Oh well.. kahuluya. hehehe.

About the title: Wala lang. Sadya lang siya pamatian. trendelenberg. daw tingdingdingding LOL.

Wala lang. I'm just bored and I can't sleep no matter how sleepy I am. We have no NCP's or Drug Studies to make either, because our CI for the MM ward was absent last night. The members in our group were distributed to different groups and were assigned to different areas. Three of us--KP, Arianne and I--went on duty with section D in the Pedia Ward. Fortunately, our substitute CI said we don't have to make NCPs and drug study, because Ms. Cuba might be around tonight already. I hope so.

The bad thing about the nocturnal shift is your body clock gets confused. Even how sleepy you are, you'd find it hard to sleep during the day. First, it's too bright. Second, there are so many distractions and noise around. Third, your body is just not used to sleeping at daytime.

Oh well, two more nights of the noc. Hopefully, I'd be able to survive it. hehe.

Crossover

I felt the biggest change in my life the (mid)night I "crossed over". I felt like everything was changing. I was changing. It doesn't make sense, though. I didn't feel any difference the day I turned 18 or 19. Or maybe I did, but I hardly noticed. What difference does it have turning a day older than 19?

The whole time I was 18, I felt like I was 17. When I was 19, I felt like 18. Now that I'm 20, I feel like I'm really 20 years old. Oh gawd. I am not getting any younger at all! Haha!

Twenty. Two-Zero. Wow. Really, I am overwhelmed. OA much. LOL. No, I mean, I can't believe my age actually starts with 2 already. I think and people expect that Ishould be more responsible, more aware and less dependent, but I still feel that I am not ready to face adulthood and the challenges that come with the package. I am not even sure if I am "equipped" to face this new stage in my life. Oh my gosh. Heehee.

Anyway, what is meant to happen this year will happen. I will enjoy being 20 years old as much as I can. So what if my (college) friends are 19? They'll all turn 20 next year anyway. LOL.

And check out the gifts I got for my birthday! I love them!

Brida by Paulo Coelho. Thanks little brother! You're the best! Di pa surprise surprise ka pa! LOL

A pair of uber cute pink, white and silver Royal Elastics flats.
Thanks mother! I've been saving up for these but she got them for me first. :D

+++++++
PS: Too bad, it had to happen on my birthday. Miss Ruth Rosit, our grade 7 (she was our adviser, too) and grade 8 English teacher passed away. We used to talk about her behind her back, but she was a good teacher really. And like my friend, PM, I feel sorry I said all those bad things about her. I knew she was hospitalized last time, but I never got the chance to visit her. :( Thank you Miss Rosit. May you rest in peace!

Things I have come to appreciate more since I became a level 3 nursing student.

CHAIR.
We spend about 6 hours standing up in the ward. Even if we have nothing to do, we are never allowed to sit down. The sight of chairs always brings us a sense of excitement.

TIME.

To be safe, I set my time to 10 minutes more advance than HSC time. Nobody can afford to be late especially during duty week, which sucks because I have to wake up really early like 3:30 just so I won't be late for the morning shift. On the brighter side, I think I have become more disciplined and time-conscious.

SLEEP.Need I say more?

DULCOLAX.
Nursery = stool exam. stool exam = Dulcolax.

I.HATE.STOOL.EXAMS. DAMN IT!

Today is a free day for me and my classmates. I actually have some business in LTO, but I don't like to go there alone so I decided to postpone it. So, instead of going there, I edited some pictures (Suyaan naman na ni Anito Bes! hmp!). Okay, so I screwed up the second pic. LOL.

I love love lomo and I'm beginning to love Converse too. :D
